This is one taken in June 2000. It depicts me working in the Blockpost called Brynglas on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales, UK. A blockpost is a signal-box which has no mechanical signals. The desired effect is achieved with flags, but the necessary authority for any train to be on a single-track section of line is with the "token". The red machine is the token machine and will only let me get out one token at a time for any stretch of track, regardless of direction of the train. Hence safety is achieved. The red machine controlls the section between Brynglas and Pendre (down the line) and the blue one behind me controls the section to Quarry Siding (up the line) and I am using the Register which records everything!
