A typical mid-Kent hop-farm, complete with Oast House and Roundel with wind cowl on top. these are so characteristic of Kent that they are almost a trade mark. Sadly, very few, if any, are performing their role in drying the hops grown on the farm (for making beer bitter) but are mostly converted into residences.
